LexaLite offers product design and consultation for a wide range of products through our Lighting and Technical Services Group.  Expertise in light sources and materials such as engineered thermoplastics and aluminum is combined with optical design expertise to provide service unrivaled in the lighting industry.

We have designed lens and reflector systems for virtually every industrial and commercial lighting application, as well as marine navigational lights, medical and dental examination lights, traffic signal systems, and lenses for lawn and garden tractors and vacuum cleaners.

LexaLite offers rapid prototyping services using stereolithography and thermoforming.

Tooling Design & Construction

LexaLite specializes in producing and maintaining intricate, high performance molds for lighting and other industries. Our methods of machining, benching and texturing to accomplish a high level of precision set us apart as the industry experts in mold polishing to optical specifications.

A mold designed by LexaLite will provide many years of quality products, since they are designed and maintained in-house. For molds constructed and maintained by LexaLite, we offer full mold maintenance, including replacement if necessary.
   
   
   
   

Lighting and Technical Sevices

Lighting and Technical Sercices provides testing and evaluation of optical systems. One of the fastest mirror photometers in the industry is housed in our photometric lab.  We can rapidly perform interior, exterior and roadway lighting measurements and and assist customers in determining appropriate lamps and lamp center for specific lighting applications. We also provide application assistance for lighting layout and evaluations using Lumen Designer.

Custom Injection Molding

LexaLite is known for our injection molding expertise.

• Machines range from 100 to 1500 tons capacities
• Mold size up to 60 inches
• Interface foaming technology on 1000 ton
• Excel in molding precision parts with optical precriptions

Proper material handling is crucial to quality optical parts.  A centralized vacuum system, with dedicated drying hoppers and lines, efficiently transports materials to our machines. This system greatly reduces chances of material contamination.
